Dalkey

This remarkable home in Dalkey, set high above Dublin Bay, is known not only for its breathtaking views but also for having hosted international guests and public figures. For this project, our focus was on enhancing the natural beauty of the setting without competing with it—offering definition, elegance, and flow through a carefully curated set of black steel doors.

We crafted double sliding doors, a pair of double hinged doors with fixed side screens, and a wide fixed partition combined with sliding double doors to subtly divide the kitchen without interrupting the visual connection to the sea. All elements were fabricated with our most delicate steel profiles—40x20mm frames and ultra-fine dividing bars—to ensure the divisions remained light, discreet, and architectural.

The entire system, including the hardware, was finished in matte black to achieve a unified, understated look. The result is a series of transitions that define space with elegance, while preserving the openness and stunning coastal views that make this home truly unique.
