Lansdowne Road
In this Lansdowne Road home, we crafted a set of three black steel doors with bronze handles for a bright new kitchen extension. Blending old and new, the simple three-panel design adds a sculptural yet understated finish to one of Dublin’s most elegant interiors.

Located on Lansdowne Road—one of Dublin’s most iconic and historic streets—this project brought together period charm and contemporary design. We were commissioned to create a set of three custom steel and glass doors as part of a kitchen extension to a classic home. The doors were installed at the threshold where the original structure meets the new build, a space where the character of the old house remains visible through preserved sash windows and traditional details.
The new kitchen is one of the most stunning spaces we’ve had the pleasure to work on: expansive, filled with natural light, and carefully considered in every detail. Our doors were designed to serve as a quiet yet impactful centrepiece—offering a refined sense of division without compromising openness or light.
The set includes a pair of double doors and two single doors leading to the utility room. All were fabricated in a minimalist style, with a timeless black finish, three evenly divided glass panels, and elegant bronze handles. These pieces strike a balance between simplicity and sophistication, acting as a functional link between the home’s architectural past and its modern transformation.
